Each child must be signed in and out each day by a caregiver (scan system and hand written – found in office)
- Under Twos: 1:5
- Over Twos: 1:6
- Mixed: 1:3
It is important that you ask if you need longer hours for your child as it can affect the ratios. If you are running late please ring to inform staff.
We have a fully qualified team of teachers at the centre that are ready care and educate your children.
Each child receives a profile book, these are to record each child’s individual learning journeys. These are kept in the office and can be taken home at any time, just inform a staff member if you have taken it. At the end of your child’s time with us they are able to keep this special book as long as their account is fully paid.
- Morning tea – is provided by the centre. We encourage children to help make morning tea if they wish too. This could include baking, spreading etc.
- Lunch and Afternoon tea – We ask that children bring their own in a named container. We encourage healthy options first. Please no fizz or lollies.
- Heat ups – if you bring a heat up please take these out of your child’s lunchbox and put in red container in the kitchen.
- Allergies – We ask that you don’t have nuts or peanut butter in children’s lunchboxes due to allergies.
- Water - Children are able to access water at all times through a water dispenser in the kitchen.
- Bottles – If your child requires bottles we are able to heat these or make them up if you bring the equipment required and feed them to them when requested.
These are done after morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. (Children are checked throughout the day and changed when required)
We offer a sleep room facility. We are able to put children to bed following their home routines or when is needed if they still require a day sleep/s.
You are able to view these at the centre if you wish too.
